 This section gives you an overview of the top epayments services on the web, before MEI© Kalysis' patent.
I have listed out the many major payments systems below that you may want to look at for your online payments to compare costs and services with MerKalysis© options.
Auction payments - NEWS! - eBay has just recently purchased PayPal and will be folding its current payment system (eBay Billpoint) into PayPal once the deal closes. Stay tuned for more info as eBay incorporates PayPal into its auction as the payment system of choice.
P2P and purchases -Paypal is the fastest growing online payment system, accepts all major credit cards, and its easy to use!
Sending money online - Western Union is trusted to send foreign currency around the globe.
Now let’s look at some of the other emoney payment services available online.
AOL Quick Checkout
Simply a method to store your credit card information already keyed in, and with one
quick button your info is submitted for "Quick Checkout". Enter your address, credit card information, and other basics, and the information is stored so you can submit it to stores in a split second. You can change or update your profile whenever you need to, and all the information remains completely secure.
Bidpay
Send Money
Bidpay is a Western Union affiliate that is focused as a payment system for buyers and sellers of auctions. It does not allow for the purchase of auction items exceeding $500 and does not allow the purchase of multiple money orders for such transactions.
CitiBank – C2IT
This new C2it service (by Citibank) is an example of a bank using a system hooked into your credit card or bank account so you can send cash to anyone in the U.S. with an e-mail address from your bank or credit card account. Or request cash from anyone in the U.S. with an e-mail address. C2it also says you can send cash to practically anyone in over 50 countries. And of course, transfer cash from your bank account to any of your linked accounts.
MSN Billpay
MSN Bill Pay lets you make payments and receive and pay bills online through MSN Bill Pay. You can make payments to anyone, anytime, anywhere in the United States, from your mortgage lender to your newspaper carrier. The only payments you cannot make through your bill payment service are court-ordered payments and state and federal tax payments.
Electronic billing lets you receive electronic bills (e-bills) online through MSN Bill Pay. Some payees are able to send e-bills to their customers. If you add a payee that is e-bill-capable, you have the opportunity to request e-bills from the payee.
MSN Wallet
Passport Express Purchase is another stored "credit card information service
offered by MSN. You can use it to make purchases online by accessing the purchasing information held securely in your Passport Wallet. A Passport express purchase can be made only at participating sites, and you must have a Passport
Wallet to make a Passport express purchase. What is the Passport wallet? The Passport wallet is simply a system to store your credit card
information and your shipping and billing addresses in a secure, online location. When you're ready to make an online purchase at a participating Passport express purchase site, you can access this information and send it to the merchant instantly and securely—without retyping your payment information.
NOCHEX
Nochex is a leading UK electronic payments system for sending money to others for auctions payments, etc. You will need to sign up for an account with NOCHEX which is done using a secure server. Then you “load” your account with money from your bank account. This can be any amount you like. NOCHEX charges 99p for every “load” you make, so for example, if you were to “load” your account with £50, then NOCHEX would actually take £50.99 from your bank account.
Once your all setup, then if you make a deal with someone, you can simply login to your NOCHEX account and using the “Send Money” system enter the amount you want to send and the email address of the user to send it to (the user has to
have a NOCHEX account as well). The money will appear in their account within minutes. You can read some reviews on the Nochex system here.

Paypal
One of the world's largest secure online payment systems for sending and receiving payments worldwide. (Note: you must register a credit card at time of sign-up). Single item purchases, subscriptions, or shopping carts.
Customers can make single item purchases using PayPal's Web Accept feature. The buyer just clicks on a customized button at the merchant's site and fills in his credit card information (or PayPal password if they are already a member) to pay.
Paytrust
With Paytrust you can receive, review, pay and organize all your bills online. Each bill you designate will arrive securely online in your password-protected Bill Center. You can pay
anyone by making fast, easy payments to someone who doesn't normally send you a bill (like the baby-sitter, gardener or a friend). You can use any bank or brokerage account with check-writing privileges. Set up multiple payment accounts to pay different bills from different accounts. Paytrust also allows you to access your bills anywhere by accessing Paytrust from your wireless Palm VII.

- Pay for an auction item you've won.
- Create custom links for your web page to get paid.
- Send a group bill to collect money for a party.
- Both sender and receiver need a PayDirect account
Yahoo! PayDirect is a service that allows you to send or receive money online.
You can transfer money to and from your online account using a credit card or bank account. Your credit card must have a U.S. billing address, and you must be over 18 years of age.
You can use your Yahoo! PayDirect account to send money to anyone in the U.S. who has an email address. Provide a name and email address, along with the amount you are sending, and the recipient will receive an email notifying them that they have money waiting at Yahoo! PayDirect. The recipient can easily receive the funds by putting the money into an existing Yahoo! PayDirect account or by opening a new PayDirect account.
You can use the "Request Money" feature to ask for funds owed to you. When someone sends you money, you are notified by email that you have received a payment. By following a link in the notification message, you can easily accept the money and deposit it into your PayDirect account.
Then you can transfer money from your PayDirect account to your credit card or checking account. With this service you can make unlimited payments to participating billers for free, but to pay anyone not participating in the service, the fee is $4.95 per month after a 3-month free trial period.
Yahoo Wallet (Canada)
- What is Yahoo! Wallet? Yahoo! Wallet is a service that lets you securely store your credit card information with Yahoo!. It makes shopping online safer and easier.
If you sign up for Yahoo! Wallet, you won't have to input your credit card information when you purchase items through Yahoo! Canada Shopping.
This lets you make purchases on Yahoo! Canada Shopping from anywhere in the world, without ever looking for your credit card. You have to sign in with your Yahoo! ID and Security Key. "Express Check Out" is a way to order items quickly
and easily in Yahoo! Shopping and from participating stores on the web. In order to use it, you need your very own Yahoo! Wallet. Any purchases you make are billed to the credit card and shipped to the address you saved in your Yahoo! Wallet.
Webdoxs
You can receive certain bills and other documents through the secure environment of Royal Bank’s Online Banking Service. Through this service billing and other documents will be delivered by "E-Presenters", companies that you currently receive bills from by mail. (Once again, only companies that have joined this system can participate).
Western Union
Auctions? - use Western Union's BidPay service for online auction payments.
Also, the Achex/Western Union® MoneyZapsm service is an easy way to send or receive money online, using your checking account.
WorldPay
