In terms of international funds, Brown is putting her money into
Matthews Asian Growth and Income (
MACSX) , but she points out that more speculative investors may wish to check out two of the top performers in her aggressive categories:
Brazil iShares (EWZ), up a blistering 33% this year, and
Mexico iShares (EWW), up 22% in the last two months. Since both funds are country-specific, Brown advises that a decent way to spread the risk and capture returns may be to buy
T. Rowe Price Latin America (
PRLAX) , despite the 2% redemption fee for holding it less than a year.
