Unisys Corporation has launched Unisys IdM Framework, a suite of identity management solutions for Windows-based enterprise environments.
The suite will draw on Unisys expertise in identity management (IdM) and the Microsoft environment, and will benefit from the company's recent recognition as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Security Solutions.
To cover the full range of an organization's IdM requirements, Unisys IdM Framework will combine Unisys solution design, integration and implementation services with biometrics, smart card technologies, directory services, access control, provisioning, workflow and public key infrastructure (PKI) technology. The framework will address key areas such as provisioning, permissions management/access control, and authentication. It is designed to help organizations manage a growing number of users and secure access to ever-increasing volumes of sensitive data and business transactions.
Unisys IdM Framework bolsters the Unisys Zero-Gap Security Planning strategy, which provides a holistic approach for enterprises to discover security vulnerabilities, assess the potential impact, and prioritize how they will address and resolve the most critical vulnerabilities in the most vital areas of their business.
