Spaniard people in IT field are worldwide recognised
BRUSSELS, 28th November, 2003.- The founder and VP R&D of the Swiss company, ESMERTEC, Dr. Daniel Díez, wins the European award for the best Europe'500 companies.
Dr. Diez holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Robotics of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). He worked together with Beat Heeb at Oberon Microsystems as architect of the first Jbed prototype. Prior to Oberon Microsystems he was co-founder of Mecos Robotics AG, a spin-off company of the ETH. He also worked at Siemens AG (Madrid and Zurich) as a software engineer.
