P-18-C is an advanced pinpad which has a built-in smart card reader and B - 801 fingerprint identification unit. With one smart card and one fingerprint, your pins are no longer stolen or forgotten. P18C is your ideal pin-input device for the following applications
- Payment terminals
- ID checking for police, hospitals, airports and hotels
- System login

Main Features
- Using Cherry key switches, good tactile feeling
- Laser-engraved keycap symbols are wear-resistand and easy to clean
- With LCD for message display, back light is optional
- Software library for easy integration within the application

Smart Card Reader
- Supports asynchronous communication protocol T= 0 and T = 1, in accordance with ISO 7816, EMV, PC, SC standard
- Support synchronous cards
- Short circuit current limiting, with special circuitry for killing spikes during power-on or off
- Power-down and sleep mode for low power consumption
- Enhanced ESD protection on card side (6KV minimum)
- Software library for easy integration within the application

Fingerprint Module
- Adpots B - 801 fingerprint identification unit
- Fingerprint templates can be stored in the smart card, embedded flash memory or host
